Lt. Aurelia Lucius is descended from a long line of Starfleet officers—Admirals and Captains and cannon fodder alike—with all the expectations that go along with having a "family career".Nevermind that her most-decorated relative disappeared on a top-secret mission over twenty years ago, along with his ship and entire crew. Whoops.

Her fate nearly took a similar turn for the tragic during her training cruise, which embarked in the opening salvos of the Klingon War. Not a wise decision on the part of the powers that be, but, nobody ever expected the Klingons to venture as far into Federation territory as they did. Lesson learned, and it nearly killed a chunk of the Class of 2256.During her Starfleet Academy years, Aurelia excelled in hands-on programming and was weak to average in more theory-based, "esoteric" topics. With help from teachers and the biggest nerd she knew, the young woman managed to graduate in the top 25% of her class—still below the aforementioned friend, much to her ire. She was among the top 10% in the tactical and advanced tactical programs.

Her specialties are combat-based. Aurelia is a brawler and expert markswoman who makes herself at home in the armoury of whatever starship she serves.Aurelia and her twin sister were augmented as children, with the former's enhancements being geared toward brute force and durability. Where most humans cannot go toe-to-toe with a Klingon and survive, Aurelia can take one down with her bare hands.
